Located in the spectacular Coast Mountains of British Columbia, and just two hours north of Vancouver, Whistler is Canada's premier, year-round destination. Whistler will be one of the major venues for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, February 12-28 and the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games, March 12-21.

A block of rooms is being held at the Hilton Whistler Hotel for CHES delegates at a rate of $189 single or double plus taxes (10% Provincial Sales Tax, 5% GST). To receive the conference rate, please mention “CHES 2010” when making your reservation. All registrants are required to make their own accommodation arrangements directly with the hotel. Any unbooked rooms will be released for general sale August 18, 2010.

Travel/Transportation

Delegates will travel to Vancouver International Airport, located just two hours from Whistler.  Remember, Whistler is a pedestrian only village and a car isn't needed at all.

Pacific Coach Lines:
Pacific Coach's YVR-Whistler SkyLynx, is a scheduled bus transportation service between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Whistler Village, BC.
After collecting your luggage, check in at the YVR Whistler Skylynx ticket counter located in both terminals on the Domestic Arrivals level if you are flying in from anywhere in Canada (International arrivals should go to Arrivals Level Bay #5).
Personnel will be on hand to assist passengers
The fare for adults is $54.88 one-way or $99.68 return.  Pacific Coach Lines will offer a 15% discount

Limousine Service

Surprisingly this doesn't cost as much as people might think.  5 people in a limousine is only about $66 per person each way. 

Shuttle and Bus Service

Save time and money by taking the bus from Vancouver Airport.  These buses always leave with scheduled departures from Vancouver International Airport and take you directly to your door in Whistler.
