Conference Venue
The Trade Show and Education Forum will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC), conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The MTCC has two major entrances. The conference is located in the South Building and may be accessed directly or by travelling through the North Building.

The hotel is connected to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre via the North Building.
A block of rooms is being held at the Intercontinental Hotel for CHES delegates at a rate of $249.00 single or double plus taxes (6% GST, 8% Provicial Tax, 3% Destination Marketing Fee). To receive the conference rate, please mention “Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society” when making your reservation. All registrants are required to make their own accommodation arrangements directly with the hotel. Any unbooked rooms will be released for general sale August 4, 2008.

Travel/Transportation

Lester B. Pearson Airport is located 32 km west of downtown Toronto.  Taxis and limousines are available at the Arrivals Level of all of the terminals.  Airport cab fares are around CA$40 to $50 to the Intercontinental Hotel and MTCC.  Depending on traffic it takes from 30-45 minutes from the airport to the hotel.

Gala Banquet - suit jackets for men; women should bring a shawl or wrap for the evening breezes.
