Opening Reception
The CHES 2007 Opening Reception will be held in the Exhibit Hall at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre. Join us to officially open the Trade Show and greet old friends and meet new delegates.

The Great CHES Golf Game
Once again, delegates and exhibitors are invited to participate in The Great CHES Golf Game. The tournament will be held at Kananaskis Country Golf Club, located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, less than an hour's drive from Calgary. You will play golf in an unforgettable landscape - the rugged surrounding mountains tower 10,000 feet above sea level, and the course itself is at almost 5,000 feet.

CHES Gala Banquet
The banquet will be held at the Safari Lodge in the Calgary Zoo. The Calgary Zoo is the only facility of its kind offering a world-class zoo, prehistoric park, botanical gardens and conservation centre. The Lodge is located in the “Destination Africa” complex of the zoo.

Special Pancake Breakfast
One of Calgary's favorite traditions is the pancake breakfast. It is as integral to Calgary as cowboy hats and calf roping. Delegates will be able to sample true western hospitality with flapjacks, bacon, coffee, juice, and of course, some country music. Our Conference Pancake Breakfast will also feature square dancing, line dancing, and western bands - what a way to start the day! Pancake breakfast included in Full Delegate Registration and in Companion Meal Package.

Calgary Walking Tour
Sunday September 9, 2007 - 1:00-4:00 pm
The tour will start at the Calgary Tower, which features spectacular views of Calgary and the Canadian Rockies as well as a new glass floor attraction. Our next stop is the Glenbow Museum "Where the World Meets the West" -where intriguing stories from Western Canada connect with extraordinary art and artifacts from around the world. Combining a museum, art gallery, library and archives all under one roof, Glenbow boasts over a million artifacts and some 28,000 works of art in its vast collections and is one of the largest museums in Canada. The tour will also provide some shopping time on Stephen Avenue.

Fine Dining Expedition Tour

Don't forget to bring your appetite! Stephen Avenue Mall is studded with gastronomic gems that will amaze you. On this professionally guided tour, you will sample selections from some of Canada's best restaurants while learning the history of each spectacular building. Dress in casual clothing and comfortable shoes.

Banff Tour

Your adventure in the Rockies will take you to beautiful Banff! This tour features the spray of cool waterfalls, a taste of local history, and a chance to spy on wildlife. To start, feel the power of the Bow Falls and the beauty that surrounds it just below the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Continue exploring from some of the best views in town - Surprise Corner on Tunnel Mountain Drive, the Hoodoos (oddly shaped pillars of glacial rock), Mount Norquay's winding road and Sulphur Mountain's peak.
